Would it be correct to say, that if a puppy is produced from MondioRing parents, and puppy shows characteristics needed for MondioRing, that puppy/dog would be excellent in Sch???
It seems like MondioRing demands a lot more from a dog that Sch does.
Most dogs that do Belgian ring have good grips so as far as that goes, if you have a genetically full gripping dog then that part is great.
there is no tracking in ringsport though so that is something to consider. as someone who owns Malinois, GSDs and Dobermanns I will say from experience that a genetic tracking dog is great. I have had genetically gifted tracking dogs and I have had dogs that have no talent for tracking at all. It's very important to start these dogs as puppies and very carefully. If the tracking is not there it makes schutzhund very hard!
