I checked with Ryan from Leerburg and here is what he emailed me about this. Hope this helps.
Playstation 2's are very iffy when it comes to playing DVD-Rs. I have played a few dvd-rs on my ps2 from here and they played fine. however Stephanie from the office said she needed to change settings on her ps2 to get them to work. She says you have to turn on the PS2 *without* a dvd in it so you can get to the system configuration. Then under system config go to dvd player and change the disc speed to fast and texture mapping to smooth. Then play the disc.
I don't think we can guarantee that all our discs will play in PS2s but the indications are that it probably will.
Just a tip...stay away from the $50 bargain basement players...they will play, but usually not real well nor for very long. For two or three times that you can get a good one that will work better and last much longer.
