For a weekend discussion:
I was reading an old post on another web-board that touched upon the topic that the coloring of a GSD determined different abilities. It was stated that "in a 1937 GSD magazine that Black and Tans are the most intelligent". Also stated that the "Sables are better workers".
This is a first I've heard this about GSD's. I have a friend who breeds Labs and he told me that the Blacks are the most intelligent, the Chocolates, the most aggressive and the Yellows, the friendliest, but with the poorest scenting abilities. Does pigmentation really have anything to do with a dogs' abilities?
