OK ok i know this is not huge deal but i want to boast today im am taking out my trash and one of those "my dog never done that before" things happened my 2.5 yr old gsd decides to run around the neighborhood. so after calling the dog and seeing him stop and run off more i finish taking out the trash and a lightbulb kicks on. hmmm, lets see if the training is working so i grab the leash and the 12 week old pup and give the find command after i took her to the spot he pee'ed on " a bush " and her little nose hit the ground pulling and leading me onward to the next spot where my dog normally marks then on to the next nesxt thing u know 5 or 6 house down and 2 streets over there he is and we was right on track . congrats Kiari!!!
this was not the first time my older has run off but he normally dont i knew where he goes and most of his normal stops and i aws very happy she followed closely to his path. but as for my older dog back to the underground fence collar

Trey, nice find..BUT...If you are training your pup for SAR, then having it track an animal will create problems later. The pup should be proofed off of other dogs and critters.
