My wife and I bought new dogs after my old dog passed on she got a female chihuahua and I got a male gsd both are the same age only days apart mine born 5/31/03 they play fine and everything but when someones around the chihuahua is the only one to bark and let us know my dog just keeps on doing his thing he does bark at times and lower his bark to let us or somone know he's there and I pick up on that and see whats going on any ideas why this would be also when do they start to lift the leg to go pee? I am new to this my old dog was a blue healer that I got as a new pup off the farm he seemed to always lift his leg to piss even as a pup and was very protective he would let you in but you would not get out without it being cleard by myself any help is great thanks.
