I will be receiving orders to Japan in the next few weeks, with travel to my new duty station taking place in May. I'm looking for tips on how to get my dog there, specifically arrangements for flying him, layovers, training ideas to make it less traumatic if possible, etc.
I know that I can get many of the vaccinations done through a DoD vet here in Virginia, with certifications on DoD paperwork, which greases the rails over there a bit. The quarantine period is now only 14 days, and it's in-house, so that is considerably better. Any other ideas are appreciated.
