I love my 16 mo. old GSD so much I bought another puppy. I thought the puppy was from heaven. She never made a mess in the house, ate well at feeding time, went out and did her business and came right back in. She is now 3 mo. old, and I built her a very nice kennel right beside my older dog. I placed her in it and fed her. I watched out the window as she ate, played with the other dog through the fence, and then walked over and ate the pile she had just made. She is doing it every time now. Is there anything I can do to stop this?
John, my dog had a similar issue at one point. I have tried Forbid, meat-tenderizer...nothing worked.
One day, I decided to switch his food all together, from Eukanuba to Solid Gold. He stopped right the way. To me it seems like the reason why they it it, is because of a poor quakity, and not being able to digest all at once. Where with better quality food, body "sucks out" all nutrients that it contains.
