Umm, we just had an ASR trial in November there, Sammy, in Florida.
It was well attended with 12 handler/dog teams, if I remember the count correctly. And about 20 spectators.
ASR is by no means "toast", and new people are gaining interest in it.
You might wanta check with the folks that are working in the sport before you post your opinions that aren't really based in fact. Facts can be your friends....
And Mike....yep, I believe! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
And let me say, that if I can attend and if the trial runs well - then I'll be plugging for PSA also <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
Real tests for real dogs just makes me a happy man!
Originally posted by Mike Sawyer: I'm new to the board and to protection sports other than Schutzhund. Was curious about PSA. I have read some articles on this site about one of PSA's Regional Directors. This concerns me. That he is a judge and director, when I have read some very disturbing letters about him. Any members of PSA have any comments on how the trials are run and the organization as a whole (these types tend to run in packs.) It surprises me that they would consider a person with this reputation to be a director in thier organization. Any comments appreciated. I'm considering joining PSA. Please provide a link for said article!!! These types of statements should be backed up....?
Bruce is correct. If you have something to say say it! I personally dont understand what your trying to do beside start rumors. No name . Nothing on why you dont like him or what is bad about him! I have no idea who your talking about but have been to three PSA trials. They were well run well judged and very practical. They do require a very great amount of control on your dog.

Bruce,
Please do not ask the same questions in multiple threads - if you do, I'll be closing them - please just ask in one thread, and await an answer, instead of spamming the same questions in different threads.
