Does anyone know why Gunnarholt's pedigree database has not been working?

This domain had gone into REGISTRAR-HOLD a few weeks ago as it had expired in June. So it's good news that Oli has at least renewed it. There had been some concerns he had abandoned the site completely since many of the functions no longer worked, and he was no longer responding to emails. The hope now is he is revamping, correcting errors, and/or redesigning it.

There were well over 300,000 pedigrees in that database and the site had an international following. Admittedly there were some mistakes entered (some innocently, some deliberate), but even so, all that info is not something I would think one would just throw away...

Perhaps it will open as a paid-member only site or a commercial endeavor, something Oli had brought up as a possibility in the sites forum last year.

Thank You for that information Ann. I was wondering what was going on. Like you said, the errors didn't compare w/ the great information it had. I too, loved that site.
