Our entire kennel is radiant heat, the kennel is 40 years old and if you have questions 3033437878 and ask for me. I wouldn't use water we use anti-freeze here in colorado

I built my current kennel in 1990 - I too used Wirsbo tubing and manifolds. We have not have any problems in the 14 years of use here in WI. We dont heat any outside slabs - I thought about it when I built the building and am glad I made the decision not to do it. A wiser option is to build a roof over the outside dog runs and the side walk in front of the runs.
