I did email the person who bred the dog in hopes that she can contact this idiot and get her to remove the ad.
Good - I'll bet Joyce will not be happy with one of her dogs being solicited in this way - of course he is an idiot offering a dog, no matter how well-bred, for stud without hip x-rays, and to other breeds, no less! Absolutely horrible.
This was just added over the afternoon... Apparently all the chit I stirred is giving her something to think about.
The winner of this auction will not necessary had the right to breed with Leo. Send me an e-mail with your dog picture and history and I'll chose the female for Leo From the e-mails I've gotten. I'll not charge the winner for Stud services. I'll breed Leo to your show dog female in exchange for a male puppy.
Still not too impressed that she has no concerns about hips... but what can ya do?
At least the dog has a title at the back of his name. Still, it's a pretty poor way to advertise stud service.
I wonder if 'pick of the litter' violates the eBay rules. eBay most definately wants a cut of each sale. I can just see it ... three month's from now a FedEx truck pulls up in front of Meg Whitman's mansion. "Ma'am, the puppy in this crate is your cut of auction #xxxx"
This ad may also violate eBay's policy against selling more than one lot per listing.

It's a DUTCH auction - of course...more than one to go around... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
