my dog is often boarded as i travel frequently for my job,the kennel he was at after several months of boarding he bit an employ who i was told tuged on his leash for not listening, any oppinion as to whos liability this would be ,i am in south fl,thanks for a reply...............
As a boarding kennel employee, all the bites that have occured at our kennel are covered under insurence and taken care of by the kennel owner. It just goes with the territory. I'm not sure if the severity of the bite makes a difference, but I doubt it.
I would check with the boarding kennel to find out the severity of the bite, treatment required, and if they are expecting anything out of you. I doubt they will but I'm in California so things may be different according to state law.

And welcome back, by the way. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif" alt="" />
As a kennel owner I make all my staff realize that the job that they have there is some things that they must accept. Beeing bit is one of them. All my staff understand that if they get bit it is their own fault. And yes we have workers compensation just in case. My groomers have their own insurence. I educate the staff as best as posible and if there is a problem with a dog they are not to handle it. They understand that they are dog care givers and there is a level of responceblity to themselves.
