SSC is hosting a schutzhund trial with SV Judge Raino Flugge

Raino's bio:

Born in 1960 near Hamburg, Germany, Raino's involvement with the German Shepherd Dog began in 1974. In 1976 Raino joined the SV. He became a member for 26 years of the OG Winsen/Luhe (LG1). Additionally in 1976 he earned 175 titles on 18 different dogs at club, regional and national levels. His years with the club were well served; 26 years as a helper, 20 years as the training director and 12 years as president of the club. His skills as helper gave him the opportunity to dedicate over 10 years to teaching helpers in his region. In addition Raino served for 5 years as LG delegate member for the SV annual meetings. For 4 years he was the Vice Training Director for the LG and was responsible for the training of new teaching helpers, judges and also creating training programs. Raino breeds under the Kennel name vom Kiebitzende and his breeding program for working dogs has been successful. In 2004 three dogs from his kennel competed at the Canadian Nationals. In the years following Raino was a competitor as well as a lecturer presenting seminars about the sport in more than 10 countries. Raino has attained his WUSV Sports Medal and has been an SV Working Dog Judge since 1994. He has judged internationally on many occasions. In 2003 Raino became head judge for the GSSCC. That same year he was one of the helpers at the Canadian National in Toronto. In 2004 Raino along with other members of the Fundy Regional Schutzhund Club brought the Canadian Nationals to Saint John, New Brunswick. Raino along with 5 other members from the FRSC competed at the Nationals in 2004.

On April 24th, we are holding an obed/protection seminar with Raino as well.

We welcome any and all to participate. As with most trials, we will be doinga 50/50 as well as raffling away prizes, food will be availabe Saturday evening. We're offering BH, Sch/IPO 1-3, and FH's.

Limit 2 dogs for the seminar, spectators no limit. Trial participants are free to the seminar, regular entries are $35 for 1 dog/$10 extra for 2nd dog, spectators are $30.00
