Aaron,
Thanks for taking the time to explain all of that; I'm glad you are willing to do so. When I ask questions, I hope for answers, sometimes all people want to do is argue or be oppositional instead of helping and giving honest advice.
It was nice to read your perspective on things. I always enjoy understanding how each individual person perceives the relationship they have with their dog. The way you described things gave me a pretty good visual understanding.
Boy that dog has a nice smile <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> Whether it's allowed or not, I enjoyed the picture.
Yes, I have a dog. However, most of the time when I ask questions about training or behavior or whatever, it’s usually not in reference to “my” dog. Even though I have dogs, I’m forward thinking about my next dog, that’s usually where my questions come from. It’s really hard for me to imagine that I will ever have a dog as good as the one I have now, does anyone else feel like that?
You communicated your answers so well; I don’t have anymore questions about the topic. I appreciate the thoughtful response,
Thanks Aaron.
