Verwin van Blitsaerd bred to Steffi v. Tiekerhook produce WUSV-FCI CH ORRY V HAUS ANTVERPA. Orry was WUSV champ in 1992 and 1996.
Orry produce QINTO VON HAUS NUYENS and he competed in WUSV. Quinto produce URZO VAN'T QUENTAWALD and he also competed in WUSV.
When bred to a quality female Verwin van Blitsaerd produced good dogs. His off-springs have produce Champions and top level competitors.Go to this website and see Verwin's progeny http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/progeny/32763.html this isn't a full list but it will give you a idea of his offspring.
I dont know the male but I owned a Steffi daughter - in my opinion the strength of Orry came from his mother and not his father. With that said Orry never produced much that we heard about over here.
I not aware of all Orry's breedings except those that are involved in the pedigree of my new puppy.
Orry bred to Bella vom Kirchgraben produced Qerry von Haus Antverpa. Qerry competed in the 2000 Wusv placed 70th, 1998 wusv placed 8th, 1996 place 51st, 1997 placed 104th.
Qerry bred to Ruth van't Leefdaalhof produced Tom van 't Leefdaalhof
1999 WUSV champion, 1998 place 3rd in Wusv.
Tom bred to Aline von der Mohnwiese produced 2004 Wusv Champ Eros von der Mohnwiese.
Orry also produced QINTO VON HAUS NUYENS with ONYXIA V HAUS NUYENS. Qinto competed in the 2000 WUSV placed 5th, 1998 placed 9th, 4th place at 1999 Wusv.
Qinto bred to QUKELLY V HAUS ANTVERPA produced URZO VAN'T QUENTAWALD. I believe he competed in 2001 Wusv championships placed 101.
I forgot to add this, Verwin van Blitsared bred to Ora von Karthago produced Scott von Haus Antverpa competed in FCI World Championship 1997, 1998, 1999 and 2000.
Hi, Kevin, here's another Verwin great- grandson Zidane vom Haus Sevens. Zidane has competed in the 2003 WUSV placed 8th and again in 2004 WUSV placing 6th. His pedigree includes Verwin's son Orry and grandson Magbert vom Blitzen Stein. He's only 4years old, I hope his new owner in Alabama will have him compete here in the US.
If you post the bitches in your pedigree it might help. There are a couple of people on here familiar with Belgian bred GSD. I'm not that familiar with Scott's progeny so give http://www.pedigreedatbase.com a try and google search the names of the dogs in progeny pictures. If, they have competed in any major competions there scores should pop up.
I wish Verwin was bred more because what little I've seen I liked. HARD HARD drivy dogs. My friend Ryan Garrick is training a young son out of Xenho van Blutsenhof (2-4 on Verwin) for NVBK and the dog is a prey monster extreme who takes crazy amounts of pressure without blinking.
He isn't sharp enough for me and I don't really like the fact that he is a social butterfly, but he is still a cool HARD HARD dog.
My Dog is from Michael at Vom Haus Lord kennels in Tenn. His dam was Tinka vom Haus Lord out of Scott and a Belgium Bitch that I would have to look up. But he is ball crazy and will fetch just about anything I throw for him. He really likes to play that Flinks game with the ball a little dangerous if you dont keep your eyes on him he can get really worked up for that game. He is social but I use him when I give obedience classes. He should be turning three now or soon and I am limited as to how far I have to drive to find someone to work him in bite work usually two hours oneway. But he is an impressive dog if you come up to my house. A lot of the houses in my area have been broken in to so my dogs have free range in my yard to help keep unwanteds out and away for my house.
