my 9 month GSD workinf female apears to be VERY soft in terms of others people tuch , she is a prey/ball drive monester BUT whenever it comes to other poeple tuches her , she steps backward trying to avoid any contuct with new person.
i took her with me everywhere since she way 3 month old , so i guess it is not a soch or fear problem....
i was trying to make her meet as many new people as i can but i still see this kinda shy beh every day.
trainers in the local SCH clup have suggested me to ask everyone tp pet her which i do....can;t say she likes it....she will always prefer my company vs any others pet....
she is doing so well for her age , her drive , focus and working drive is just amazing and there is this thing driving me nuts here......any idea guys?
Dont sweat the smll stuff - if your dog has good prey drive then focus on that. Your emphasis should be to do drive work in differant locations and not worrying about meeting strangers. Dogs are pack animals strangers are not part of this dogs pack.
