I own a GSD puppy that is 4 months old. He likes to gather the toys in only a certain spot like under a desk or stairs or on a cozy spot and does chew and play with them there. As I would drag the toy and he would chase for it, as soon as I let go and he has access to it, he takes the toy right to the same spot and does the chewing and shaking there. When I go to take the toys he does not get aggressive but shows just a little unwillingness (holds on the toy for few seconds than lets go) to let me have them.
I am just wondering what kind of temperament is he showing by this since this training room is very big and he could be playing right in the open where no desk leg would be bothering him while shaking and chewing the toys. Could this be dominance related?
