Two days after I got my puppy he was scared by some neighboors dogs who were loose and came running at him while barking. He did not get bit (since I was there and stoped the other dogs) but I think he was scared. I am not sure if that was the cause for his aggresivness towards other dogs, but I also hear that a lot of GSD's tend to be dog aggresive, so part of it could be genetics as well.
On the first day of class for my puppy, he seemed scared and barked at any other puppie who made eye contact with him. I would give him treats as soon as another puppie would approach him and he would be fine. On the second day of class he might have barked 2 or 3 times. On the third day he and another lab puppy were eating from the palm of my hand while touching each others mouth and paws not showing any aggression. Now whenever we see another dog he usually ignores them but will ask for a treat. I felt horrible when the instructor did not allow my puppy to play with the other puppies as she was scared he would bite them. But I know he is doing much better and I am not so worried about that anymore.
BTW I have also corrected him once for barking at another dog as we were walking, so I think that helped too.
Othervise my puppy is not scared of different exposures and people but is very playful and friendly.

When my puppy tries to grab my hand I know he is in prey drive, jumps aroung me and likes to play, but he does not bark at me. It's probably still unlikely that your puppy is showing aggresivnes but maybe somebody else with more experience can give you advice on this one.
