I'm tired of coming to my favorite discussion board and seeing nothing but shat posts.
I'm sick of hearing about how someone reacted to your dog and what you did about it. I'm sick of hearing about people's trips to petsmart and how great their dog was compared to the idiots in the pet training class. I'm tired of hearing all of that gossipy shivas.
So, I figured the best way to get some interesting threads on the board again. . .threads that draw the working dog trainers to post. . .is to post them myself and beg the actual dog trainers left here to post to them with me.
Every week I'm going to pick about four forums and post one exercise or training goal in each of them. What I'd like to see is people post their training methods they use for that goal to the tread. What tricks are good, what theories they like to use, what tools they use. . . all that good shat.
Then we can fight about who's got the best method, why someone's method sucks, what methods are good for what dogs, who's dog is weak and who's is strong, who doesn't know anything, who thinks they know everything. . . all the great things that make dog training discussions fun. ROFLOL
If anybody has suggestions for threads or exercises to get things rolling. . .and who are obviously too damn whimpy to post them on their own. . .e-mail me and I'll put them up.
I'm putting up a thread tonight for anybody who wants to post about dog training.
