Hello, I have a question regarding the Dogtra 2000 NCP Unit. If I change the long antenna with one of the shorter ones will the unit still work effectually and how much of an impact will this have on the distance that the unit would be effective, Also is this recommend.

I have a DTsystems 100 collar. I only use the short antenna. I get so much range just off the little one, I would never, do never use the maximum distance its capable of. The only time I use the long antenna with when I go camping or horseback riding in the woods. The long antennas also help against the terrain block signal effectivness.
