Dennis Jones Webboard User Reg: 06-13-2004 Posts: 3389 Loc: Richmond Va Offline	My new puppy will bite the pull toy and then spin like a gator to try to rip it out of my hands. She did the same with my son's pants leg. Do I discourage this type of biting a little later or do I leave it as a surprise for the helper? I'm total brand new to training in bite work and don't want to mess this up.

Trust me it is worse when you get them home and they don't bite anything. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /> I would keep multiple toys on me to try to block some of the biting your pants and shoes. You have to learn to make them more interesting then your leg. Good Times! I am smarter than my dog, your just not.
