It was also the begining of the demarcation line between show and working looks. Lance was a very sickly pup that pulled through. This and how extensively he was used as a stud is my version of why showlines shepherds have problems. My dog has Fran-jo lines. I cannot think of an American showline shepherd that wouldn't have them. They bred a lot of dogs. I am smarter than my dog, your just not.
