Just my 2 Rupiah.... I am sorry but that is not so. While all E tablets do not contain Heroin there are some on the market that do contain heroin, called alot of time 007. I have seen some that were siezed and lab tested.

The use of an upper and a downer isn't uncommon. We've seen "chasing the dragon" a street phrase for smoking crack followed by heroin to "smooth out" coming down off the crack.
Now I've never heard of heroin added in pill form? from the dopers standpoint a pretty poor way to put heroin into your system and since heroin is the highest cost per ounce street drug a costly way to use it.
I was told that if a dog will alert on Meth he will also usually alert on heroin. the question arose because we get lots of meth to use for training but very little heroin.

David this happens in novice dogs who have not had enough discrimination training.
A few things can happen to support this theory but understand they do not smell the same to the dog.
What often happens is the officer inadvertently “talks" the dog into the find by body language or if they are introducing the scent truly talk the dog into indicating the find..
Remember: Dogs are optimistic by nature sooooo….The dog smelling a foreign but concentrated scent hits on it because they know the game to win the reward and are optimistic about their guess of being right.
People who cut corners on the scent association phase of a new scent are asking for trouble in my opinion. Teaching the dog by adding a scent in the search area is not the best way to train a new scent.
