I'm answering publically because I want to point out that Rashmi's message was regarding Rashmi's joking question to me in a PM about whether she would now have different treatment on the board, now that we know she is a woman and not a man. (Hence the reference to Terry's message about the whole ambiguous-name thing). I had answered that there might be funny comments, but that this board was all business when it came to dog advice, and that her treatment would be the same. So her public reply about meeting "a few great acquaintances on this board" was in reference to that.

Sorry, I just have to mention this.
In the Czech Republic, ALL Czech woman have feminized last names. Usually it ends in 'ova'. (cant get much more feminine than latin for egg, can ya.. ? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
And married couples have 'different' last names. For example, if Martina Navratilova (Czech) were to marry Milos Forman (also Czech) her new last name would be Formanova.
No joke. Forman and Formanova.

My name goes up on posters a few times a month and I always insist on them NOT making me Davisova.. which results in many people expecting me to be a man when I show up for work..
