I have tried to start educational programs with the local humane associations regarding the handling of specific breeds, and avoiding dog bite incidences. They have no educational efforts and apparently aren't going to start them. The only other option I see to prevent BSL and breed bans is proactive legislation - AMVA Community Dog Bite Prevention . Do you think it would be correct or effective to compile information and resources and submit it to our city council? - Or do I wait until somebody wants to ban breeds?
