Meridth there is North bay working dog club in the Sonoma area as well as Midbay in Vallejo, also there is Menlo Park Sch club.
Connie there is Willie Ortner's club Monterey bay Sch Club, which train in Watonville and sometimes at Ft. Ord. The people I know that train in Hollister train at South county and San jose Ger Shep dog club and South county. Dave deleissegues has a Sport dog club on Friday nights which is a good mix of green handlers to seasoned Sch competitiors, very laid back and fun group of people to work with. For good helpers (but this is based on personal experience, not downgrading other helpers in the other clubs) I would look at Menlo Park, San Jose/South County. Experience at all levels. Great people. Great training and results.
