This isn't really a question, but I had to share my excitement with SOMEONE who cared...
Ok, so I've read so much about this whole "ball on a string" thing for puppies and Remi has never played with one or seen one. So I thought to myself this afternoon, what's the big deal with this ball on a string?
I put one of his hard rubber balls with a hole in the middle (that I normally put treats in when I want him to settle for a while) and put a rope through the middle.
OMG, I don't think I've ever seen my dog go so crazy. He was jumping and lunging and totally excited. So after about 15 minutes (it's like 95 degrees here right now) of that, I did some obedience with him and he was so motivated.
OK OK, so I should have tried it earlier. Wow. Gotta love the ball on a string.

Hey, thanks, Jennifer! I'm laid up with my foot elevated and giving my stir-crazy dogs exercise by throwing stuffed toys from my couch into other rooms for them to chase.......the short kitchen-route for the Pug and the long hall for the Shepherd........I have one of those hole-in-the-middle balls. THANKS! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
