Patricia... Meth is a regional issue right now and not widespread all over the US. Different areas have different drug problems. In Pittsburgh we are starting to see a Meth lab or two pop up in the area every few months. In Erie Pa. they have a large Meth problem but don't see any heroin. As Howard suggested they have a problem with crack in Central Florida.... In Pittsburgh it's all about heroin... we hardly ever see cocaine any more it's all about stamp bags.... and lots of them. Will we have a Meth problem... I'm sure we will as a new generation of drug users emerges into adulthood.
ofcourse, you're right about it being a regional issue.....as far as production is concerned. here in the midwest, we have a huge problem with it, however since it is relatively inexpensive to produce it is similarly inexpensive to purchase; meaning it is not going to stay where it is produced. heck, a few years ago one of the foreign exchange students at the high school was sending it home to spain!!!
if there are no dogs in heaven, then when i die i want to go where they went. ---will rogers
Unfortunately you will also see Meth use grow among AIDS victims. It is being touted as a 'help' to increase T-cell count when they drop. And I guess when people start to get desperate.... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />
