Just saw a news article posted a few moments ago that says the Pentagon has ordered 1500 Paratroopers to Iraq to provide security for the two upcoming national votes that includes the "White Falcons" 2nd Battalion of the 82nd Airborne.
Is Jeff part of the 2nd Battalion?
If yes, I'll pray for his safe and healthy return.

Jeff's company made a training jump today and he has not called home tonight. I always look at that as a good sign - no calls no military cars in the driveway.
I saw mention of the 1500 troopers going on the news tonight. Jeff is in the 3/325. Thats third battalion of the 325. One of his best friends from town (Nick Essick)arrived in Kuwait last thursday and another (Jared Leable) is in the 405 of the 82nd is leaving in 7 to 10 days. If they ask for volunteers to fill slots Jeff has told me he wants to go back.
