I would like some input on meeting requirements from breeders( who own stud dogs ) on breeding to an outside non titled female. Where I am going with this is if you have a bitch who is both structurally and mentally sound and possess the neccassary drives for working , but perhaps is only trained in home PP, would you feel comfortable making a cross ?? Deny the breeding ???
It sounds really kinda two faced, but with my Malinois I have no problem breeding an untitled bitch as long as it is mine <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> If the dog is mine I know her inside out and know that (titled or not) if she is breedworthy or not. (structurally sound, stable, strong nerve, confident) Now if the bitch was not mine or it was a bitch that I did not see on a very regular basis (say it belonged to one of my club members) and felt I knew the bitch well, then I would not stud my dog out to her.
OOps can't edit.. I meant to also say that to me health screening is more important than titles (assuming the dog has the correct temperament to be bred of course)
