Hi, probably a silly question... But, my wife left a couple of pounds of ground beef on the counter and my 9 mos old GSD managed to get it and eat it. I'm just curious if she would be prone to E-coli and such the way we are... Should I be worried? At least it was lean ground beef...
Your dog may have loose stool simply from trying to digest the increased level of protein. Anecdotally, feeding yogurt and giving a biotin supplement can help correct this.
If your dog is generally healthy, no reason to worry! If you haven't looked already, there's lots of raw diet information on this website and web board that can show you more definitively that there's no harm (and much to be gained) from dogs eating raw meat and bones.
