Hello all, well this is a question I should have asked the forum back when my young Dobermann Draco was up for sale, and my "guts" were telling me that the prospective buyer sounded too good to be true....
Hindsight being what it is, I now ask the members of this forum to please search their memories for a 23 year old male named Dennis Carrion. He is located in Hauppauge, New York, claims to be involved in Real Estate and Security. He is very serious about our dog Atlas. He claims to have purchased (and returned) a dobe from David Kiewel. Hence my suspicions.
I have no reason to believe this guy is a crook, I'm simply trying to screen my potential buyers more thoroughly! ESPECIALLY when the sale involves a male as valuable as Atlas! (And yes, I'm sure not all share that opinion! , however he is a proven stud, VPG1, plenty of civil training etc.)
I thank you in advance for whatever assistance you can offer!
For the record, Draco von Leidenschaft is still missing!
There are a number of places on the internet that you can use to do a background check. They often include a criminal history, if any. Credit reports are often revealing too.
Sometimes a plain old Google pops up interesting stuff. The problem there is determining which John Smith is your John Smith.

Thanks Charlie, I've tried Google, but nothing so far, usually it's finding the right combination of words!
As for background checks, I haven't found a site yet that doesn't require a credit card! I'll keep looking!
