Thanks, Tracy ----
Last time I asked, your Ava was doing lots better in her recovery. I know that forum members would love to hear how well she's doing......
She's made a amazing recovery. The latest bloodtest showed no liver or kidney damage.Ava's blood levels were in the normal range for the first time since the accidental poisoning. It took 3 to 4 weeks for all the ill-effects of the Baclofen to go away. The vet was shocked Monday when he saw Ava and her balance, eye sight and high drives were back to normal. Dr. Cooper told me, he expected to advise me to put her down and didn't expect Ava to fully recover. He examined her shortly before Hurricane Katrina and she was still showing elevated bloodlevels for her kidneys and liver. Her eyes still couldn't completely focus and her balance was better but she would stumble and bump into furniture. Now she is back to normal. It was as a switch was turned back on and bam back to normal. Thanks again for all the support this board and its members have given me.

It DOES sound as if some neurological switch was flicked somehow. I couldn't be happier for you and for her......she was determined to make it, wasn't she?!
