I'd say it works fine. Genetically, the litter seems to have tested aggressive
That would probably be true if I had tested his litter mates. The other puppies I tried it on were not of the same litter. I bought him at a pet store so I tried on several different breeds’ rather then one particular litter.
I just chalked it up to bad advice.
Why would you buy a puppy from a pet store. All they have are puppies from puppy mills. Pour blodlines and so on. This is why you need to do alot of research on the breeder and make sure your getting what your paying for.
just my .02 worth.

Hind sight is 20-20. I wouldn’t do that again. But I did ask about the breeders and the dog was from a local breeder who I had heard good things about.
You live and learn… I did a lot of research before buying my Marsha (god I love that dog). She is KKL1, and with a wonderful temperament. She will have some awesome puppies. And I will be right here doing all my research when that time comes.

Hear hear, Alice. I had a client once who had a young lab, about 8 mos old. The lab was skittish, but friendly. They said their old lab which has passed on was very stable, not fearful at all, watchful of people who came in, a good lab of good temperament. It had come from a lab breeder. This new lab they had obtained from a local pet store that sells puppies (argh). I gently said that pet stores are pretty bad and they said "yeah we know but this store is different- they deal with breeders!" All I could think of, and I did bite my tongue on it, was that the dog they got from a REAL breeder sounded a thousand times better than this pet store lab (the head on it was terrible, too. Very narrow). Anyway, I'm done hijacking the thread :P
Julie, apologies, I thought you were referring to pups out of the same litter. How did the pup you chose react in the rest of the test, or did you only use the roll-on-back test?
