I'm sorry if you have viewed my posting on another thread. I should have posted it here first. Thanks!
I am actively involved in a K9 club who competes in obedience, agility and personal protection. I have been training and working with two dogs who are not my own. Yipee...We got 1st place in my first agility trial. I am having a lot of fun working with the dogs. The problem is since I am training other dogs that do not belong to me, I do not get to bring them home. :-) Although,I have a 5 month old German Shepherd puppy, who has begun some training but is too young to compete with.
I would like to see if there is/are any older dogs who need a "playful" home.
I would prefer a dog who has had exposure to or mastered protection "bite" work, any agility and any obedience. They must get a long with other dogs and are housetraining...they would be an indoor dog.
If you have any comments or questions, please feel free to email me. Thanks! Melissa
Just a word of warning.. you will probably get 1001 emails, of which maybe 3 will be worth looking at. There are a LOT of crooks in this business that will sell you the biggest piles of dog poo living on this earth... just be careful and ask around about the person you decide to buy from.
Thank you for your replies. I think that for the time being, it would be best for me focus on my puppy and not be so anxious. Thank you so much. I will let you know in the future if I change my mind.
