pedigreedatabase.com isn't working for me I've been wanting to check it out since my breeder recommended it...any ideas as to why it's not working?
Coincidence? Well, not in my case. We had 8 pups in one litter. The two reds from that litter both went to friends of mine. I grew up around those dogs and both were very hostile. The rest were blondes and honeys---all great and even tempered dogs. The dam of my Cocker came from working lines and was used in hunting. The sire was all show dog. My Cocker had pups and in her 6th or 7th year developed canine leukemia. She was a great dog. My other dog was a beagle/long haired dachsund mix....he died of a broken heart after she passed.
I didn't want another dog for a long time because of those events...but now, after some more personal losses, I think unconditional love and a pal would be quite welcome again!
I'm certainly not an expert, but before I purchase a GS I'd like to know if this "rage" gene is associated with color...
thanks to all that contributed with hyperlinks and advice.
I've had dogs most of my childhood, but the one I'm looking for now is the first one I've had since I was a teen. I'm a single dad, have a 10 year old daughter and a 15 year old son.
I've had some brief but very good emails with Cindy here at Leerburg and have already decided on which dvd's to purchase from Ed's company.
We're looking for a good companion dog that will eventually protect my kids and my home when I'm away...we're also interested in Search and Rescue because of our involvement in the hurricanes here in Texas and Louisiana.
I look forward to getting to know you all and appreciate your welcoming me into the "pack"!
pedigreedatabase.com never seems to be working. I don't know why... but I too have been trying to get on the site for a week without success and I have had trouble in the past few months as well.
