Didn't even realize the 2nd video was a different one! So by "the same", do you mean same dog different event? Because it was definately a different event, or at least a different bite. The videos are taken from opposite angles, but you can see there is a blind in one video where it should have clearly been visible in the other one. Perhaps the same event, but a different bite further down the field away from the blinds.... but for this to happen twice... well, maybe if it's the same helper - but if it's a different helper in each video then it's an issue with the dog IMO.
ok. i feel the same way (obviously). onward we go, or the useless debate will go on forever (until will or ed or someone stops it). it would be good to get a look at a GOOD vid showing either decoy screw-up &/or dog screw-up though. just to know what to look for. and i'm sure it's already somewhere on this site.....
no, i meant same outcome with different dogs. 2 diferent dogs (i think), same outcome. why? and what does the presence of a blind have to do with the outcome?
both dogs flipped--why? and what to do, if anything?
BTB: dog or decoy? or a combination?
most importantly, what to do in EITHER case?
I would be interested to see if the dog has a neck injury. He obviously bites long enough to cause the flipping. I think he might be getting a stinger in there causing the release.
This was covered earlier. The dog is not "gripping" when it comes in. Nothing a helper can do to help this. No elbow tricks no side steping nothing. If the dog won't grip.....well thats on them.
