Does anyone know of a source to help translate all of the titles and abbrev on a Slovakia pedigree. I was sure I had seen it posted but cant find it now. I figured out some of it using an online translator but that doesnt help with the rating numbers.
I think I have figured out the father's 5V1/N, 3 of the grandparents 5V1/P but the mother's 5CV5/55 P and grandmother's 5CKCQ2/P dont seem to fit the translated ratings exactly. Can anyone shed some light? Is the CMKU number a registration number? Some of them have CKS or CKSP with one SZ and those are registrations.
The CMKU number is the Czech Registration number. SZ would be a registration number with the German SV (I believe). The other letter/number combos you see under the dogs name are the results of the Breed Survey. There is a chart that corresponds with each letter/number which describes the dogs conformation, color and temperment.
5CKQ2/P under the grandmothers name translates to:
5 = required strength, build, refinement, height:
Male: 63 - 65 cm
Female: 58 - 60 cm
C = straight, short croup
K = long back
Q = dark pigment
2 = Good hardness, courage and fight drive
P = Dog releases bite on handler command
There are two different charts, one for use with dogs prior to 1991 and one for use with dogs after 1991.
