Kelp provides iodine to the body for correct functioning of the thyroid glands, which influences overall health, metabolism, skin and coat. Sealife Food Grade Kelp Meal is made from the seaplant Ascophyllum nodosom, responsibly harvested from the Maine coast. The live plants are quickly dried at low temperature to preserve valuable vitamins,minerals,trace elements,amino acids, and alginates.
Kelp also contributes to good pigmentation. Kelp contains some proteins, is rich in iodine, calcium, phosphorus, and potassuim as well as vitamins A, B, E and D.
We feed our Leerburg dogs a natural diet, all of our dogs get a teaspoon of Alfalfa and Kelp in their food every day. These are inexpensive health additives that are packed with minerals and vitamins.
The Kelp is Atlantic Kelp, which is harvested off the coast of Maine.
There is nothing added to the natural dried kelp (there are no animal ingredients).
Kelp Powder is not tested for mercury levels. Kelp is tested for 3 basic bacteria (ie ecoli,etc.).

Alfalfa contains calcium, potassium, plus all known vitamins. The minerals are in a balanced form, which promotes absorption. These minerals are alkaline, but have a neutralizing effect on the intestinal tract.
Alfalfa helps with arthritis pain.

The shelf life of Kelp And Alfalfa is 2 years. To maximize the shelf life, you should keep your kelp and alfalfa in a cool, dry place out of the sunlight.

I use the kelp and alfalfa as supplements in my dog’s food every day. Since I have added these two ingredients to my dog’s food I have seen a huge difference in his coat and skin and overall health and appearance.

I have used and witnessed the benefits of these [Kelp & Alfalfa] supplements with my own dogs. They are great! Now I am sending these in order to help a USAR soldier s adopted stray, "Rosco" recover! Great product! Thank you and God Bless!!

Hello! I have searched all over the internet, local and web based animal holistic/health food stores, even the large national retailer and both the Alfalfa & Kelp were actually more expensive and hard to find. Thank you for suppling this supplement! Hope all are well there and God Bless!
