The 10" Yellow Firehose Tug is a strong and durable tug great for dogs with a strong grip. This is a very hardy tug made out of firehose material with a nylon handle. It's the perfect size for building drive.

Building Drive

Drive building in adult dogs is always done with the smallest tug. Simply move the tug around your legs and body at a speed that your dog cannot get at. These short quick movements will force your dog to move quickly in order to catch it. When your dog misses, it builds frustration which builds drive.

Tugs Are Not Chew Toys

This is a photo of a tug that was left unattended with a young dog (6 to 8 months) for about 20 minutes. Tugs are not chew toys and should never be left with dogs alone. When tugs are used correctly, they last for a very long time. When they are left unattended with a dog they may only last minutes.
