Product Description
If your dog pulls during dog walks to the point where they’re choking themselves, it may be time to consider the prong collar. Leerburg’s Hidden Prong Collar is a great option for new and experienced trainers alike. Prong collars are a lot like power steering but for dogs. Unlike slip collars and flat collars which could damage a dog’s trachea or windpipe, prong collars will create a pinching sensation that releases when the dog stops pulling.
The quick-snap release buckle has a lock to ensure it doesn’t come apart during walks. Two additional D-rings to hook your leash onto also provides some added security. Despite this, you can never be too careful. We highly recommend also using a backup collar and an adapter.
Leerburg’s Hidden Collar comes in multiple sizes fit for dogs small and large. Links are set in place with Velcro strips. All links are made with stainless steel so they’ll never rust. Check out our sizing chart below to figure out what size to get for your dog:
Measurements
Size | Total Length | Link Thickness | Link Length |
---|---|---|---|
S | 14" | 2.25mm | 1.25" |
M | 19.5" | 3.0mm | 1.5" |

Additional Considerations
Leerburg strongly recommends using a backup collar any time you are using a prong collar is on your dog. For more information on back up collars and why we recommend them check out some of our free streaming videos on the proper use of a prong collar as well as the prong collar leash. We recommend Leerburg’s Dominant Dog Collar.
Prong collars should NOT be used with a retractable (flexi) lead.
