My dog has a lot of extra skin around his neck. How do I make sure the bark collar is placed properly and snug enough?

Cindy,I just ordered a bark collar from you all, and I have a question about fitting it properly. My dog has a lot of extra skin around his neck. I want this to work, but am unsure about where it place it on his neck and how snug to make it. I've read the articles, but I didn't see anything about dogs with excess neck skin.

Just fit the collar up high on the neck under his chin as much as possible. Fit it in the same area as the prong collar in these photos.
It needs to be snug enough that it doesn’t slide down or then it will lose contact and won’t correct the dog.
