My dog yelps when I correct him with the prong. Should he be doing this?
Full Question:
I have a papillon that continues to yelp every time I correct him with a prong collar, he still takes treats from me afterwards... Frankly it is embarrassing to have him yelp, but he doesn't seem that upset by it.Rebecca

You may be overcorrecting him, I would suggest lightening up on the force used correcting him or you can try turning the collar "inside out," with the prongs facing out and see how that works. Some dogs are just vocal, and will make noise no matter what but this will give you feedback that may help.
