Cindy,
Can you tell me the magnetic effects from the magnet and ball on iphones, credit cards, and dog microchips? I know to keep magnets away from the cards and electronic devices but how close can you be without effects? What about the dog microchip? Any problems with that?

Our manager got a reply from the manufacturer of the Top matic:

Yes the magnet can destroy (especially the maxi power clip) electronical compomemts. (cards, smartphones, etc.). How close or far you have to put them away is not possible to answer because any card or phone is diffrent. The best would be if the customers keeep the magnet away from electric components.

We never heard any problems about the micro chip for dogs.
