Wanting to get some ideas as to possible why's in the hope of stopping the little tyke getting put down.
8 weeks old
lots of energy
premium dry -morning (now cut out to test)
Biolac puppy milk
fresh mince dinner
everything great other than throwing up.
also up to date on puppy worming and shots.
any ideas??? The vet said that it could be hernia and to just put it down, not interested in doing any testing.
This is bad news Julie, most vets have no problem doing something extra, especially when they can charge you. NOT going off on all doctors or anything but it's a bad message to hear that. If you want, get a second opinion. If it's worth it to you then go ahead if there's something they could possibly do.
My heart goes out to your loss and it may not happen, but start building up for it incase. I'm sure it'll be hard.
Thanks for the replys, it's not actually my dog but someone who brought a dog of my stepmother and then bred it to her bitch, she has been in contact with sharon (stepmum) from day one as she wanted to do it all right.
If it were mine i would be telling the vet off for being lazy and disinterested in his own profession!!!
Sharon is going to take the little one off this womans hands in order to give it a chance and if it comes good place it in a pet home. Just hoping to get some ideas so we can narrow it down and improve the odds.
