I saw this on our local news website. This person is seeking a license for a kennel with 600 adult dogs for breeding. I can not imagine the sheer volume of crappy dogs that will come out of the place. Figuring conservatively 500 litters of 4 puppies each would be 2000 puppies a year. And that is assuming they only breed once a year but I'm sure it would be twice to maximize profits. It said he was a co-owner in another kennel that has since been shut down. At that place they were allowed to have 120 adult dogs but the USDA found they had as many as 829. It makes me sick to think of the over crowding and just plain dismal conditions those dogs lived in.
