Food = $1,000
Vet = about $100, assuming nothing major happens
Toys, bones, etc = $500
TOTAL = about $1600 per dog, per year
This doesn't include the costs for any new leads, sleeves, dumbells, collars, crates, etc, that I may buy. Or any Vet bills for hip x-rays, etc. Or club dues. Or USA registration fees. Or Trial entry fees. Not to mention gas costs and wear and tear on my truck driving to/from training, etc, or anything else that is "training" related.
Oh, my. I just totaled up my bills for March (2 large dogs raw fed)and it came to $342.27 BUT, this is for everything - RMBs, muscle, organ, yogurt, bones, etc., and it will last me 6-8 weeks. I think I should move to a farm

So if it lasts 2 months then it's about $85 per month per dog, or about $2.75 per dog per day. I don't think I'm spending that much, but the $1 per day per dog other posters are averaging is very impressive. I know I never make it that low. But I don't have a separate freezer yet!
