Just thought I'd say hi. I live in Idaho (I know, I know!) and am working on my PhD in clinical psychology. It's amazing how much of dog training is just basic psychology <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
Anyhow, Monte is my first German Shepherd...in fact, the first dog I've owned on my own, and I've done basic obedience with him and am currently working on CGC. Even though I've never trained dogs, I've trained a lot of horses, and that helps!
I couldn't find a scanned, recent picture of Monte that also has me in it, so here's one of us, Monte is about 5-6 months here.

Here he is at two years...weighing in at 108lbs.

Welcome. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> Say hi to all my Braun cousins if your in Boise. Hey there is more than potatoes in that state. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
I tried to get my wife to move to Moscow so that we could live in Idaho but no dice, she's a warm weather girl.
Too bad, I love the freedom that Idaho offers, I would trade good weather for that. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />
And Ashley,
welcome to the forum!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
