I would like to find info/get the word out about a situation with a particular individual that was hired in the SA area as a trainer. What is the proper protocol?
I will say this much right off - not just is he missing but also a dog that he had sold to the business plus a check for a rather significant amount of money that was meant to purchase another dog. The owners are looking to persue legal action against him. Especially since he just packed up and left without any notice. Can anyone help?
Any ideas?
I would just continue with the lawsuit. Most of the time, when someone decides to pack up and move, they HAVE to transfer certain things to their new address. The court will be able to contact his bank, the post office, driver's licence and motor vehicle registration places to see if he has changed his address and where it is. If he had a specific business name, look it up on websites that offer ratings and customer comments. Otherwise, I'd just advise the owners of the business obtain a copy of the check for evidence (or place the carbon copy of the check in a safe, waterproof spot) and continue on with the legal action.
Would it be out of line to mention his name on this forum to see if anyone can help dig him up? If anyone has heard anything? Even try to get the word out there?
I already asked and am waiting to see where to post it.
I am not sure where he went. That is what we are trying to find out. He is not a bad trainer, likes the dogs and has passion but what he did here is just flat wrong.
I am thinking that he might end up in Colorardo since his ex and kids live there.
One of the big things is that the dog is being missed and the real owners would like to recover him.
Hi Gisela, I know this is a few months old thread now but I'd like to know who the trainer you're talking about is as I had a similar problem with a trainer in the same area. Can you email me the info of this person? Thanks very much.
