I came across this web page recently and thought others might enjoy looking at the pictures and videos. The dogs are Renascence Bulldogs. The breeder has started a registry to distinguish it from all of the other olde bulldogges being bred. There are quite a bit of working pictures and videos. The dogs are really neat looking along with the site graphics it really makes them seem almost cartoonish (in a good way <img src="http://www.leerburg.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />.
My first thought was this dog's knees are not going to last if his owner keeps putting him through this kind of agility.
To each their own I guess. I would never own one of these dogs but I find the breeding process very interesting and these gentlemen seem quite committed to developing or "recreating" this breed. As far as reinventing the wheel, would you prefer just one breed of dog?

Well, the dude certainly knows how to put together a badazz website, anyway. But all the flashy graphics and photoshopped pictures of gothic man/beasts are not particularly what I'd be looking for in a real deal breeder website. Nice training photos, but my border collie can do that stuff too.
If he really wants to impress the right people, he ought to re-do the website when half those dogs have ASR or FR titles behind their names. Just IMO.

I figure with what? 400 breeds recognized by the FCI there should already be a dog breed out there without having to create one just to start your own registry.
